Criterion Capital donates prize to Sheriffs’ Ball auction in the City of London

Last week, Criterion Capital was delighted to attend the Sheriffs’ Ball at the historic Guildhall with the City of London Corporation.

Criterion Capital

It was a memorable evening filled with celebration, philanthropy, and pageantry. This year’s theme was The Great Gatsby – a nod to the 100th anniversary of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s iconic novel.

We were proud to contribute to the auction with a prize of:

  • Cocktails for two at our 1 Leicester Square Rooftop Bar & Restaurant – London’s first 1920s-themed rooftop venue
  • An overnight stay for two at our flagship Zedwell hotel in Piccadilly Circus – the perfect base to explore the West End

The prize raised an incredible £500, donated in support of The Lord Mayor’s Appeal and the Sheriffs’ & Recorder’s Fund, which champion vital causes including mental health, rehabilitation of prison leavers, and tackling homelessness.

We are honoured to have played a small part in supporting such worthy initiatives, and we look forward to expanding our footprint in the City – having recently acquired the iconic 1 Princes Street on Bank Junction – and engaging further with local communities and charitable initiatives.
