Planning approved for 77 Park Lane

Yesterday evening, Westminster City Council granted planning permission for our ambitious project at 77 Park Lane.

Located in the prestigious Mayfair area, this prime central London site has been vacant since June 2022. We will be revitalising and transforming the space into a vibrant hotel under our successful Zedwell brand. 

Criterion Capital has pioneered this unique hotel concept, which is already thriving in central London locations. Zedwell provides a sleep-focused experience with guest rooms, aptly named “cocoons”, equipped with noise-reducing walls, floors and doors, as well as warm ambient lighting, enabling guests to recharge before tackling the bustling city again.

Environmental Consideration: Using sustainable and recycled materials, we aim to reduce the unit’s carbon footprint by 43%.

Job Creation: Directly creating approximately 40 full-time jobs and indirectly generating jobs through our supply chain, Zedwell will support local employment.

Community Engagement: Guided by local feedback, Zedwell is committed to being a good neighbour and supporting community programmes.

Economic Growth: With no in-house food and beverage services, Zedwell guests will support local restaurants and cafes, driving sustainable growth.

Neighbourhood Safety: Zedwell’s 24/7 operational security, reception, and lounge area will activate the street frontage, enhancing neighbourhood safety.
