Out of 10 matches, we emerged victorious in 9, placing 1st in the group phase!

While we faced a tough challenge and were unfortunately knocked out in the Champions League quarter-finals by the team who went on to win the trophy, this year’s performance marks a tremendous improvement on last year’s result, where we only managed Europa League qualification and were knocked out in the quarter-finals. Our team consisted of asset management, hotel operations, maintenance, accounts and construction staff and every member displayed incredible unity and spirit despite being unfamiliar with playing together. This achievement is a testament to the power of collaboration and the strong company culture we’ve built.

Following the final match, Team Captain Omar Aziz expressed his pride: “I’m immensely proud of our team – not just for their exceptional performance, but for coming together at a weekend to compete. These events are about more than just the game; they’re about building morale and creating a stronger, more connected workforce. And the journey doesn’t end here – we’re already gearing up for next year with even more determination and a new addition to our roster: the Zedwell Softball Team! Training will commence shortly and we are fully committed to securing that coveted trophy in 2025!”
